The Ministry of Education has released grade nine and seven results with both grades recording an increase in the pass rate. Out of the 302, 870 candidates who sat for the 2024 grade 9 examinations,169,280 have obtained the Junior Secondary School Leaving Certificate. Education Minister Douglas Syakalima says the results show an increase of two point three percent pass rate compared to 2023. And Syakalima announced that out of 491,785 candidates who sat for the Grade 7 examinations, 350,116 candidates obtained Primary School Leaving Certificates.
